🍂HEDGEHOGS AT FOREST SCHOOL** 🦋🍂

Hedgehogs enjoyed a wonderful morning exploring Forest School! 🌳💚

The children created beautiful **leaf rubbings** and painted pictures inspired by all the things they could see around them. 🎨🍃

There was lots of **imagination, creativity and fantastic fine motor skill development** as little hands got busy creating! ✋✨

What a lovely way to learn through nature! 🌿🦋

🎭✨ PUPPETRY COMES TO HARES & FOXES! ✨🎭
What a fantastic morning Hares and Foxes had with Animate Puppet Co!
We started with some brilliant warm-up games, using our bodies in groups to create different shapes and objects before inventing secret handshakes with our puppetry teams. 🤝😄
Daisy then demonstrated step-by-step how to create and operate a puppet. The children had to use their listening and memory skills to recall the instructions and guide Morgan through the process, while Steve encouraged everyone to contribute their ideas. 🧠👏
Then it was over to the children! With 3–4 people working together to operate each puppet, they had to communicate, cooperate and coordinate their movements before creating their very own stories. 🎭📖
Such a fantastic session full of creativity, oracy, teamwork and plenty of laughter! 🌟
A huge thank you to Animate Puppet Co for such an engaging experience! 💚

🧭❄️ **Exploring Shackleton’s Crew in Herons!** ❄️🧭

Herons have been busy in English exploring the **physical and mental qualities** that Shackleton’s crew would have needed to survive their incredible Antarctic expedition. 🧊⛵

The children shared ideas and developed vocabulary to describe qualities such as **strength, resilience, determination, courage and teamwork**, thinking carefully about how these could be shown through their writing. 💪🧠✏️
