Earth Day 🌍 🌱
In Leverets the babies enjoyed some time on the field picking flowers and feeling the grass, painting on different recycled materials, and exploring a sound tuff tray full of recycled plastic pots and natural objects.
In Bunnies the toddlers enjoyed cleaning up the “beach” talking about where rubbish should go and why, investigates natural resources to mark make in play dough, and created collages from recycled materials.
In Hares the preschoolers challenged themselves to use tweezers to pick rubbish out of the ocean tiff tray to stop the animals getting poorly, weeded and litter picked around their playground, and discussed plan life cycles.

We had a wonderful time hunting for Easter eggs in all our rooms earlier this month 🐣
Leverets explored different textures to find their Easter eggs and loved exploring the sound they made when they shook them!
Bunnies enjoyed searching their outdoor area and investigating how to open their eggs!
Hares found numbered Easter eggs that they challenged themselves to match on a number line to practice their number and colour recognition!
Such fun 🤩
