Just completed a little project with my oldest daughter (see stories for the before!) Husband and youngest are isolating with covid in the top of the house so no access to the iron BUT I am still happy with these shelves for the endless shoe chaos! I cut a vintage table cloth for the curtains and lined with a shower curtain to provide some protection from muddy boots! for the win! It fits neatly by the back door to, hopefully, encourage the children to pop them away as soon as they enter the house😂🤞

Christmas is magical in Devizes.... You know what's magical? Shopping small and independent and having lovely chats with the shop keepers and owners and them knowing you and your family and what they might like.... That's magical and that's Devizes

When we moved into our house the garden was literally a concrete rectangle. Spotting friends like this tiny toad bring me so much joy, joys that a town centre courtyard can house a lot of magic! 💚🐸

Turns out it's hard to photograph a white curtain!
Have replaced the sticky back frosting on our windows with these sheer curtains. I wanted to be able to see out a little more than before but as one window is the bathroom and the other over looks next doors kitchen we still needed some of the privacy the frosting gave us. Am really pleased with these, have had the fabric for a while but not the time/inclination!

Shamelessly sharing as there appears to be a shortage of applications for early years roles at the moment!

Oldest declared an "emergency" when she came out of school today! It's her teacher's birthday tomorrow and she wanted to make her something. Luckily I had some fabric already cut out so she chose one she thought her teacher would like and we sewed it up! Emergency averted! 😂🦊
