A well-deserved party for another brilliant half term! We hope everyone has a lovely week and we’ll see you on the 1st June ☀️☀️☀️

Our secondary pupils had a fantastic time this week at the residential! They completed the zip wire, low ropes, archery, hammock building and team building exercises! They all faced their fears, showed kindness to others and worked together to have a great time! Well done everyone!

1ES have had an exciting week exploring different types of rocks in Science, pupils have enjoyed investigating different textures and have created their own clay models ready to decorate! We’ve also enjoyed playing football outside, practicing our dribbling and shooting! In Maths, we have continued looking at shapes and have been making our own shapes using lollipop sticks! A great week!

1NM have enjoyed the story "The Very Busy Spider" and have been exploring lots of spider themed activities. We have also learned about VE Day, and decorated some bunting, flags and crowns to take with us to the whole school celebration! Another lovely week.

What another great week in 3LB! In Maths, we have explored measuring weight and have enjoyed working in groups to find the weight of different objects. In PSHE, we learned about the importance of sleep and loved using the weighted blanket to help us relax!

3SM have been learning about mass in Maths this week. They've enjoyed weighing and ordering different objects, using keywords 'heavier' and 'lighter'.

A lovely week in 2CM!

We have had a very colourful week in 1AT, all about Elmer the Elephant. We made marks to create our own Elmer patterns in English and we printed with sponges in Art to create a patchwork painting. Our sound of the week in phonics was 'P'. We enjoyed making rainbow water to explore capacity in Maths and we've used our colour communication mats this week to explore the colours on Elmer the Elephant. Well done 1AT!

Last Friday we marked VE Day with a wonderful celebration bringing all pupils together. We enjoyed some delicious cakes, some of which were made by our secondary pupils. Classes also contributed some fantastic decorations. Everyone’s hard work and creativity helped to make the event meaningful. Well done Springfield! 🇬🇧🍰🎶
