🏡 A New Place for Childhood is Coming

Muddy knees. Big imaginations. Wonderful questions. New friendships. 🌱

This September, Potlocks Day Nursery opens its doors in Willington.

We've created a nursery where children have time and space to be children. To explore outdoors, follow their curiosity, make discoveries, create, move, play and find out what they're capable of.

Because childhood shouldn't feel hurried or over-planned.

It should feel like childhood. 💛

✨ What’s happening at Potlocks? ✨

The transformation is well underway, and every day we’re getting one step closer to revealing something truly special! 💚

Here’s what we’ve been busy working on…

🤎 Our cosy roof has now been installed in Little Bears.

⚡ Our incredible Thunder Sensory Ceiling is complete… and it looks absolutely amazing!

🎨 Baby Bears has been freshly painted and is now ready for the carpet to be laid.

🌙 The flooring has been installed in our beautiful Sensory Sleep Room.

🌿 Our Under 2s Garden now has its fencing in place, creating a safe and exciting outdoor space for our little explorers.

Every detail has been carefully planned to create inspiring, nurturing environments where children can learn, play and thrive.

Not long to go now until we’re ready for the full reveal… and we honestly can’t wait to show you what we’ve been creating! 🐻✨

Our brand-new sensory ceiling is designed to captivate little imaginations, encourage wonder, and create an environment where every child feels calm, inspired and excited to explore.

Trust us when we say… this is going to be something really special. 🤍

The countdown is on, and we can’t wait to reveal the finished transformation. Watch this space… ✨

Exciting things are happening at Potlocks!
While it might not seem like there’s a lot to see just yet, every corner has been carefully planned with our children and families in mind. Sometimes it’s the little details you can’t see that make the biggest difference, and we can’t wait to bring it all to life.

Here’s a sneak peek at the exciting updates to our baby room as we prepare to open our doors this September! We’ve been working hard to create a warm, safe and nurturing space where children can learn, play and thrive from day one.

🎡✨ What a lovely day we’ve had at Willington Carnival! ☀️💛

It was wonderful to showcase both The Old Forge Nursery and our brand new nursery, Potlocks.

We loved meeting so many lovely families, chatting with you all, and sharing what makes our nurseries such special places to learn, play, and grow.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, took part in our activities, and came to say hello. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

We can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces to our nurseries soon. 🌿💚

Tomorrow is 🎠🎊 and we can't wait!

The Potlocks Day Nursery team are ready to go with some amazing Forest School activities and fun games, and we excited to meet everyone from the village and tell you all about our new nursery.

Come and say hello to the Potlocks Day Nursery team at Willington Carnival - Saturday 18th July 2026, 12-5pm

We'll be offering families some amazing Forest School activities and fun games, and we can't wait to meet everyone from the village and tell you all about our new nursery.

The Carnival is always a fantastic day out for all the family, and a great way to support local businesses, we're very excited to be there.

Behind these walls, something magical is beginning to take shape. 🤎

These photos are from the very beginning and it certainly has moved on leaps and bounds now.

Over the next few months, we’re transforming this house into a beautiful, inspiring nursery where children will feel safe, loved, valued and excited to learn through play every single day.

Every room has been carefully designed with little minds at the heart of every decision 🤎

There’s still lots of hard work ahead, but we can’t wait to take you along on the journey and share each transformation as it happens.
