FOCUS YEAR GROUP OF THE WEEK – YEAR 3!

What a fantastic week of learning!

From building dens and stick figures outdoors with Mr Holdcroft to creating and labelling their own Shreks as part of their book launch, exploring with VR headsets, learning a new dance with Mrs Greene and practising archery with Mr Kealing!

In Art, they also created predators while exploring colour mixing, and in Geography, they learnt about endangered animals and how they can help protect them.

A brilliant week of creativity, exploration and learning Year 3! ♥️

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible power of music to bring people together, cross cultures and make us feel connected through the universal language of rhythm and song.

At Beacon, music is a special part of everyday life. Our children have the opportunity to sing, perform and share their talents in music lessons and assemblies each week — and they never fail to wow us!

From drums and piano to guitar and beyond, our talented pupils are finding their rhythm, building confidence and, most importantly, having fun making music.

The children have had the best time getting cosy with their friends and enjoying some fantastic films, including Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Ice Age, Monsters, Inc. and Shaun the Sheep!

They’ve also enjoyed yummy hot dogs, biscuits and drinks while settling down for a fun-filled evening with their peers.

It’s safe to say we’ve had a fantastic time! ♥️
