Wigan Local Area Partnership has been notified of an upcoming Ofsted and CQC Area SEND Inspection.

As part of the inspection process, inspectors are keen to hear directly from children and young people with SEND, parents and carers, and practitioners about their experiences of SEND support and services across Wigan.

🌿 Cooperative Play Outdoors! 🌿

Today, our preschool children enjoyed working together in the mud kitchen and taking part in construction play outdoors. They shared resources, took turns, and worked together to create and build. These experiences supported teamwork, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills while having lots of fun! 💚😊

We had a fantastic visit from Wigan Athletic Kids On The Move at preschool last week! 🌟

The children had so much fun getting active on the MUGA, enjoying lots of exciting activities while developing their movement, coordination and new sporting skills. 🙌

We absolutely love our Moo Music sessions with Jude each week in Minis! 🐮🎶

We start with our special welcome song before diving into lots of music, movement and fun - and there’s very often a little dressing up involved too! 🎩🧚‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Then comes the moment everyone looks forward to… Jude’s legendary bubbles! 🫧✨ So much fun and laughter as we chase, pop and catch them!

Finally, we say goodbye to Maggie Moo until next week, already looking forward to another fabulous session. 🐮❤️

We were so lucky to have Sue read us Tell Us a Story, Rory, and the children loved listening to the story. 📖❤️

They were absolutely fantastic and super well behaved throughout the visit - we were so proud of them! 🌟

On Monday during our French lesson, our preschool children had lots of fun learning how to name farmyard animals in French! 🐔🐑🐮

Andrea had such a lovely way of engaging the children, making the learning fun and meaningful through play, songs and interaction. The children were excited to join in, practise their new French words and learn through play. 💕🇫🇷

During circle time this week, Miss B has been showing the children how soap helps to combat germs and why washing our hands is so important. 🫧

The children have been learning about how soap helps remove germs from our hands and the importance of washing them properly to help keep ourselves and others healthy. 👐💧
