🎥 Last week, our Year 7 pupils welcomed representatives from Channel 4, who delivered assemblies and form group workshops exploring careers in TV and media.

At Dean Trust Wigan, we encourage pupils to think about future careers and post-16 opportunities from the start of secondary school.

It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn about the industry, discover different career pathways and be inspired about their futures. 🌟

As part of our Transition Programme at Dean Trust Wigan, we were delighted to welcome Year 6 pupils from several local primary schools into our school for a taste of secondary school life.

The pupils had the opportunity to experience a range of exciting lessons, including Science, Art, Spanish, Music and PE. It was fantastic to see them getting involved, trying new activities and experiencing what life is like at our high school. Take a look at some of the artwork they’ve created.

A huge thank you to all the pupils and staff who took part and helped make the experience such a success. We look forward to welcoming potential future pupils again soon!
