The Core of CAW Tuition
Hello. I thought I would add a few words here to explain a little bit about me and CAW Tuition.
I have more than 10 years Primary School teaching experience, working across all age ranges from Reception to Year 6 - including leading the dreaded Year 2 and Year 6 SATs! Prior to teaching I worked as a Learning Mentor, helping children and their families to break down barriers to learning, ultimately boosting their confidence and self-belief and thus enabling them to fully engage in education again. Combining both the mentoring and classroom teaching, CAW Tuition was born; working 1:1 with children to help them to believe in their abilities, achieve their very best and succeed in all that they try!
I firmly believe that fun, hands-on and meaningful experiences are the cornerstones to successful lifelong learning and this is how I approach each session. I cater to each child’s individual learning needs through engaging, creative and memorable learning activities that are, where possible, based on their interests and personal learning styles. Every child is capable of success if given the time, the tools and the desire to be so.
I travel to your home. I teach all aspects of Maths, English and Science in KS1 and KS2 - other subjects may be available on request.
