What a fantastic half term we've had in Class 2! 🌟
In History and DT, we have loved learning all about the fascinating Maya civilisation, exploring their gods and beliefs before designing and building our own Mayan temples.
In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of shape, position and direction by using coordinates, translating shapes and describing turns. We even put our coordinate skills to the test by playing Battleships and enjoyed heading outside to navigate the playground by giving each other directional instructions!
In Science, we became young scientists as we investigated how food affects muscle fatigue. We made predictions, carried out an experiment, analysed our results and presented our findings in a bar chart.
We are so proud of everything the children have achieved this half term. Thank you for all of your continued support throughout the year. We hope you all have a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer holiday ☀️
