If you've just started Year 12, you may still be in the habit of relying solely on textbooks (like CGP) or YouTube for your A-Level Biology revision.
This makes loads of sense - you did this all through GCSE and may have even got an 8 or 9.
However - relying solely on this for A-Level Biology is not going to get you the A or A* you need. A-Level Biology has an extremely strict mark scheme and you need a set of notes that are packed with terminology that is actually on the mark scheme.
Sure - the textbook and YouTube is going to teach you Biology, but it won't tell you what wording is correct for achieving the mark scheme points (even textbooks that are endorsed by your exam board).
Back when I did A-Level Biology, I made mark scheme specific notes myself, but it took so long!
Now, I make mark scheme specific notes for my students based on going through every single A-Level Biology past paper. And 12 years later - I still wish I had these notes when I started Year 12!
