I hope everyone enjoyed the Kewstoke Scarecrow Trail as much as I did! Was lovely walking around the village seeing so many creations! Our favourite was definitely Scooby Doo, but apparently there is a similarity between me and the man from Up! I can’t see it myself 🤣🤣🤣

A heartfelt message from one of our Year 6 parents whose time at Kewstoke has sadly ended this week.

This is what makes the job so rewarding and the reason I get up every morning 😊

“I would like to sincerely thank you for all your hard work, your care, and everything you have done for our children. As today is the last day of school, I wanted to say goodbye and express my heartfelt gratitude.

You are a truly wonderful headteacher. It was always lovely to see you welcoming the children to school every morning and saying goodbye to them at the end of the day. You always greeted them with a smile, kindness, encouragement, and a positive attitude. It made the school feel warm, safe, and welcoming.

Thank you for everything you have done for the children’s education, for your support, your kindness, and your dedication. Your work is deeply appreciated.

I wish you a wonderful summer holiday, a relaxing break, good health, happiness, and every success in the future. May life bring you all the kindness that you give to others.”

Yesterday we welcomed our retiring CEO to Kewstoke Primary School to wish him well and to thank him for his dedication and support since the school joined the Wessex Learning Trust in October 2025.
As a tribute to him, and as a lasting reminder of his work with the school, Mr Ball was invited to plant a ‘Wessex’ clematis that will take pride of place in our grounds as we welcome many new families into the Kewstoke community in September 😊
