More congratulations are in order for West Pelton Primary School & Red Rose Primary School for achieving Climate Friendly School Status 2024!

Actions they undertook included taking learning outdoors, building water butts out of recycled materials and learning all about sustainable careers 🏃‍♂️ 🌧 👩‍🔧

A big thank you to Chester le Street and District Area Action Partnership for funding this impactful project!

The closing date for secondary school applications is midnight on 31 October 2023.

The closing date for primary applications (those children who will be turning 5 on or between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025) and junior school applications is midnight on 15 January 2024.

Just 1 week to go until our Dance Festivals at the Gala Durham Theatre start! We’re so excited to see all the hard work all the children and staff have put into there routines! There are 42 different classes or groups performing over the week and we’re nearly sold out!!! 😮👌
