As we prepare for a new academic year at Al-Azhar School, we look back with gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessings of last year ; a year filled with learning and spiritual growth. May this coming year bring even more barakah and success for our students, teachers, and families

Last year our students enjoyed:
Learning Qur’an with proper tajwīd
Building Arabic language skills
Strengthening their Islamic knowledge and manners

As the Prophet PBUH said:
“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari)

Our end-of-year assembly was another great day at Al Azhar School in 2024. On that day, the names of the winners of our Quran competition and the students who won the school's scholarship were announced. Our reception students were super excited to receive their graduation certificates 🥰☺️

Location: West Harrow, London
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Quran, Islamic studies and Arabic language teacher for our Sunday School. The successful candidate will provide quality teaching both in English and Arabic in Quran and Islamic studies and Arabic to students aged 4-15.
Schedule
• Sundays only: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Term time only

Required Qualities
• Native Arabic speaker
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching Arabic to children aged 4-15
• Experience in Quran and Islamic studies teaching
• A good role model for our young children
Compensation
• Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
• Working with highly experienced teachers from different Arabic backgrounds and experiencing different cultures daily.
• Working in an already established school that has been running for 7 years.
