🌟After-School Clubs – Now Live on MCAS!🌟

All ASC’s (apart from AFC Fylde Coasters Football Club) are now available to book on MCAS.
A payment of £12 must be made in advance to secure a place.
All clubs will start Week Commencing Monday 7th September and will run for 7 weeks.

Monday:

KS2 Netball – 3:20pm–4:20pm

Tuesday:

Cheerleading Breakfast Club – 8:00am–8:45am (this club will be open to reception pupils in the New Year)

KS1 & Reception - Multi Skills – 3:20pm–4:00pm

Wednesday:

Whole School Football Club
Booked through AFC Fylde 3:20pm–4:20pm (please see separate post)

🏆 School Games Platinum Mark Award 2025/26 🏆

We are incredibly proud to share that St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School has once again been awarded the School Games Platinum Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year.
The School Games Mark, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, recognises schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality sporting opportunities, participation and competition for young people. Receiving this award is a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of our entire school community.
This year marks our eighth consecutive Platinum Award, having maintained this prestigious standard since 2018/19. For a small school of just 101 pupils, this is an achievement of which we are immensely proud.
Over the past year, 68 pupils have represented St. Joseph's in local inter-school competitions and tournaments, demonstrating teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and determination. We are also incredibly grateful to our pupil sports leaders, volunteers and young officials whose commitment has helped make many of our sporting events and activities possible.
This recognition reflects the outstanding efforts of everyone involved in school sport at St. Joseph's, including:
⭐ Our dedicated staff and teaching assistants
⭐ Parents and carers for their continued encouragement and support
⭐ Coaches, volunteers and local sports clubs
⭐ Our Sports Leaders and pupil volunteers
⭐ School Games Organisers and local partnership teams
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this success. Together, we continue to inspire our children to lead active, healthy and happy lives through sport.
We look forward to building on this achievement and working towards the School Games Platinum Mark Award 2027.

As our wonderful Year 6 pupils begin the next chapter of their learning journey, we wish each and every one of you the very best of luck.

You leave St. Joseph’s with so many happy memories, lifelong friendships and achievements to be proud of. Continue to believe in yourselves, embrace every opportunity and never stop striving to be the very best version of who you are.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Mr Millar back into school to see the fantastic play activity tables that his incredible fundraising helped us to purchase for our OPAL programme.

After completing an Ultra Marathon to raise money for our PTFA, Mr Millar’s dedication has provided our children with even more opportunities to learn through play. The tables have quickly become a favourite at lunchtimes, with children enjoying games such as chess, draughts, Ludo and many more.

A huge thank you to Mr Millar for his amazing achievement and to our wonderful PTFA for helping to make this possible. Your support is making a real difference to our children’s play experiences every single day.
