We are opening this week for some pop up sessions due to the heatwave!

3.30-4.30pm - school families only
4.45-5.45pm - open to all on PAYG
6-6.30pm - adult only capped at 12 swimmers

Message from Lisa our SGO - Congratulations Tewin-Cowper on achieving Gold for your School Games Mark for the second year running. This is a wonderful achievement and truly represents the hard work you have put in in providing lots of varied opportunities for the children within your schools in PE & Sport. Our Oak and Juniper children went to Heath Mount for a Sports Festival which our Pupil Voice Ambassadors, Felix and Ziggy organised themselves along with some other year 6 students from different schools.

There were 6 activities: dodgeball, tennis, tag rugby, rounders, athletics and ball skills.

Each child completed two of these activities in the afternoon on the grounds of Heath Mount. They worked well with the children from other schools and had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine.

The Sports Leaders were as always impressed with how polite Felix and Ziggy were and their ability to support children during the activities with confidence.

Well done to everyone who took part ☺️

Today, our children enjoyed a special RE Pause Day, exploring our school's six core values: Love, Honesty, Respect, Forgiveness, Thankfulness and Courage.

Working in their house groups, the children moved between a variety of engaging activities designed to bring these values to life. From role-playing Jesus washing the disciples' feet, to sharing what they are thankful for, and writing heartfelt messages of love, every activity encouraged reflection, discussion and kindness.

It was wonderful to see the children thoughtfully considering how these values shape our school community and their everyday lives.

One of our favourite reflections came from a Year 3 pupil who said:

"I am thankful for all the love I am given!" ❤️

A fantastic day of learning, reflection and celebration of the values that help us grow together.

Although the morning began with plenty of rain, it certainly didn't dampen our spirits! 🌧️🏊

Today marked the start of our curriculum swimming lessons, with Willow, Chestnut, Oak and Olive classes all beginning their crash course at the pool.

The children showed great enthusiasm, confidence and determination as they took to the water, developing their swimming skills and water safety knowledge. We are looking forward to seeing their progress over the coming sessions.

Well done to everyone for making such a fantastic start! 🌟

And once again we are opening up. Due to cancellation of a volunteers weekend away we have got capacity to open up for a 4 extra sessions over the weekend.

If they book up we may be able to offer more.

Hi all,

As the weather is so nice we are going to open the swimming pool for 3 sessions on Tuesday 26th May.

We have a new booking system this year which includes an app to manage bookings and buy your summer passes.

1. Download the app

2. Register

3. Search for Tewin School pool

4. Create a sub profile for each swimming attendee

5. Sign the waiver

6. Select what's on then you Will see the sessions for the Tuesday 26th

7. Select the session you wish to attend and select how many tickets you require then proceed to payment.

We are running the sessions as PAYG at £3.50 a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of closure.

Swimmers and spectators must have a ticket!! All children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning CIC Quick Wins Launch has been a great success. The children have demonstrated fantastic imaginative play and shown great enthusiasm towards all of the equipment.
