🎁 Want a free assessment paper?
A quick way to check where your child actually is before they start on 11th May.
We’re offering a free Year 6 Arithmetic paper - same timing, same format, no calculator allowed. School will give them plenty of practice, but sitting one at home (in proper exam conditions) tells you something different: how your child will cope without the classroom and teachers around them.

🎯 A quick refresher on how the marking actually works. 📝
The scaled score and the magic number 100 will be familiar by now, but it’s worth a reminder of why the raw score gets converted in the first place, and why two children with the same number of marks in different years end up with different scaled scores.

🎯 When the report comes home in July, here’s a quick reminder of what the results mean👇
You’ll only see the scaled score - not the raw marks. 100 is the expected standard. But the numbers either side of it carry meaning too, as your child heads into secondary.
