We can’t wait to see everyone back tomorrow! And to welcome our new learners. Pob lwc to our old year 6s as they enter year 7- you’ll be brilliant!

The teachers, support staff, cleaners and contractors have worked incredibly hard to be ready for tomorrow- sorting classrooms and completing training.

Decoration
We have had class 1 & 4 decorated. Along with toilets refresh and also the canteen. Scott Jones has been very busy.

Other rooms/corridors are planned in on a rolling programme over the next 2-3 years.

All class teams have made their spaces look great for the new school year.

We have had new blinds in class 1. 2, science & technology lab, expressive arts room and the study which have made a huge difference.

Roofing
New roofing is currently in progress. So class 5 will depart via the community centre doors until end of September.

ASC pick up- through the double gates on to the ks2 yard and then to the ASC door as normal.

📚 Every child has a story to tell - BBC 500 words is BACK!!

BBC 500 Words is the UK’s largest story-writing competition for 5–11 year-olds. Entries open at 8am on Tuesday 29 September and close at 9pm on Friday 6 November 2026.

BBC 500 Words is open to children wherever they are and however they learn. Whether they’re in school, learning in hospital, or home educated, every child can have a go at writing their own story.

The competition is all about creativity, and spelling, punctuation and grammar aren’t marked so children can focus on their ideas and let their imaginations lead the way.

Our delicious, nutritious meals are freshly prepared each day and offer a variety of tasty options for children to enjoy. 🍎🥪🥕

Whether your child has school meals every day or on selected days, we encourage you to have a look at the menu together and chat about the choices available.

Please remember to let the school know of any dietary requirements or allergies if you haven’t already done so.
