Happy Sunday!

We hope you are enjoying your weekends ☺️

We have had a crazy couple of weeks so we have combined our photos for you all from the last few weeks including:

- Our new puppet show
- Creating flowers bookmarks
- Our football party celebrating how well our England women are doing in the Euros.
- BUBBLES! You can’t go wrong with a new bubble machine and
- Trips to the park and libraries

Happy Sunday! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend ☺️

It has been very hot this week and will be carrying on into next so just a reminder to please pack hats and spare clothes (shorts, T-shirts).

We have had a wonderful week -

* Washing car at the car wash and watching them run down the slide into the water

*Creating our own monsters with playdough and using our hands and different tools to create marks.

*Our older friends have started to create a cress head pot - getting creative with googling eyes and paint.

*On Wednesday we enjoyed a trip to Imagination Fascination where we role played firefighters, policeman and hairdressers. Had a ball party in the ball bit and then enjoyed a fish and chips at the park.

Happy Monday! We hope you have all had a lovely couple of weeks! We have definitely made use of the sun! ☀️

Some wonderful photos of the last few weeks.
- Fine motor with scissors, Pom Poms and our new nuts and bolt set
- Lots of baking making goodies for our friends
- Took a “rocket” up to space and enjoyed looking at our foam planets and lit up our tent with rockets, star and spaceships
- We also enjoyed a lovely invite to a tea party to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice, where we enjoyed a picnic, some cake and even had a go at a raffle. We were also very delighted to hear that almost £1000 was raised for this event as this charity holds a special place in both our hearts 💕

Just a reminder to parents we are closed tomorrow for training - we look forward to seeing all our friends from Wednesday ☺️

Happy Friday!

What a lovely week back we have had from our time off - it was lovely seeing all our friends again!

This week has all been about fine motor skills with:
Treading
Painting
Dinosaur number pegs
Poppets
Building
Role playing in the kitchen
☺️

We have also had a mini focus of colours and beginning to learn their names and being able to recognise the difference 🌈

We also enjoyed a coffee date on Friday and some friends took a trip to the local library on Wednesday ☕️📚

The children have also begun to explore all about oral health which is our mini focus topic of July - using tooth brushes, toothpaste and our own voices through our songs we have practiced brushing our teeth together. 🦷🪥

A few photos from the previous week were we enjoyed a trip to Aerospace museum, a farm themed day at Taunton College and Compass Stay and Play! ☺️

Happy Sunny Sunday!

Few photos from this week of the lovely days we have had with our friends.

We went on a walk to our local park to spot some flowers and explore the play park. 🌹

Our friends have also enjoyed using their fine motor skills with pegs and our monkey game placing all the monkeys on the branches. 🙈

We have been encouraging our matching skills with lotto games - seeing which animals our friend recognised and placing them on the correct pictures. 🐷

Outside we have splashed and gone fishing in our new paddling pool - seeing what fishes we could scoop up with our nets. 🐟

We took a trip to Pennywell to see all the baby animals that live there and even had a go at feeding some goats. 🐐

Our friends have also been finding lots of different mini beast back at Twinkle Toes with our new mini beast tuff tray and learning lots of different names of the insects. 🐜

Happy Friday! ☺️

We have had an incredibly busy week in the sunshine! ☀️

On Wednesday we enjoyed a trip to Cort Farm, where the children loved seeing all the different animals and their babies. We also enjoyed a tractor ride which our friends were mesmerised by the big wheels on the tractor going round and round. 🐑

Outside in the garden we have enjoyed creating lovely cupcakes using pipe cleaners as candles and lots of different tools to create their design on the top. 🧁

On Tuesday our friends helped bake our cake for the week, going through all the ingredients that we need and even helped crack some eggs. We also talked about safety in the kitchen when things get hot! 🍰

Our friends also explored a pasta tuff tray - using wooden bowls and cutlery to make lovely cups of tea with a dash of colourful sprinkles on top. ☕️

We have enjoyed a few trips to the park where we went on a dandelion hunt so our friends could blow and watch all the seeds fly away in the wind. 💨

Happy Sunday! We hope you are all enjoying your lovely sunny Bank Holiday Weekend! ☺️

We had a very busy and sunny week back and have taken all advantage of the sunshine - spending every moment possible playing in the garden.

The children enjoyed getting our pool out this week - splashing around with fishes and catching them with the nets. 🐟

We have brought out our bubble machine which our friend have extremely loved - running around the garden trying to “pop pop pop”. 🫧

The children enjoyed swimming inside with our ball bit - finding all the different colours and using kitchen supplies to make some lovely ball soup. 🔴🔵🟡🟢

Exploring our new books - especially the dinosaurs, finding the one with the fluffy tail! 🦖

We have held lots of lovely tea parties for our teddies - feeding them lots of yummy “apple juice”. 🍎

We have also noticed that our raspberry bush has started to flower - with atleast 13 raspberry which we are very excited to bloom and eat! 🪴

Happy Easter! 🐣

We hope you are all enjoying your lovely weekend with your families!

We have had a very busy week creating lots of different crafts for Easter, as well as exploring our Easter tuff tray finding all the hidden carrots, bunnies and chicks. 🐣

Whilst the weather was a bit up and down we did get to enjoy some lovely local walks and trips to the park - going on a flower hunts to see what we could find, driving our very big “bus” with the steering wheels and sliding down with our babies down the slide. 🛝

Our friends have been exploring building with our Lego blocks, stacking cups and soft blocks as well and enjoying our sensory bins - exploring different textures and sounds that they make.

We have also been completely our puzzles - matching all the pieces to the correct spaces and looking after our babies - giving them lots of cuddles when they are upset and feeding them bottles.

Happy Sunday! 🌼

We hope you are all having a lovely weekend ☺️

Lots of outside sunshine this week with our friends -

Enjoying the sand pit using our shapes to create lots of different animals and objects. 🐚

Our friends have enjoyed watering and looking after our plants and loved spinning our wind mills round and round. 🌼

We have introduced our new light box and our friends have loved exploring all the different colours and using objects to watch how the light changes…the disco mode was very popular! 🌈

Our new sequins boards have also been a hit - drawing difficult patterns and even numbers in the magical colours. 🖍️

We enjoyed a trip to the local park, swinging in the swings, sliding down the slide and using the wonderful crane to dig the sand. 🛝

Happy Sunny Friday! ☀️

We hope you all have enjoyed the lovely sunshine…we sure have!

We enjoyed another trip to the beach, where the children explored building sandcastles, collecting shells, running away from the sea and a lovely fish and chip lunch! 🌊

We also have started our garden, we have planted some lovely raspberries and flowers already with a few more treats to plant next week 🌼🧑‍🌾

The children have throughly enjoyed having our tent out this week, making their own beds to sleep in and hosting the BEST teddy bear tea parties! 🧸

We encouraged our fine motor skills in different sensory and messy play, creating our own porridge with oats was the best! 🥣

As the weather has been so lovely we have all enjoyed daily walks, garden play, trips to the garden centre where the children loved running around finding lots of natural resources. 🏡

We even managed to enjoy a lovely tea picnic on Tuesday - enjoying our home made pizzas out in the sunshine! ☀️

Happy Mothers Day! 💐

We hope all our Mums, Grandmas, Sisters and Aunties are all having a wonderful weekend enjoying the sunshine ☀️

We have had a very busy week this week:

Playing with our shape sorters - trying to find the correct holes for each piece to go into. 🌟

BUBBLES! 🫧 All we have to do is say the name and our friends get very excited to have them out to pop!

We have also enjoyed painting with different mediums, this week “stomping like dinosaurs” 🦕

The weather has been ever so kind so we spent every day out in the garden, digging in the sand pit, pushing our friends along our new ride along toys and even painting with water along our patio slabs. ☀️

We took a trip to Taunton for a Mother Day stay and play where the children enjoyed meeting new friends and exploring all they had to offer. ☕️

Our children also enjoyed creating their lovely Mother’s Day crafts for their family - getting messy and creative 🎨
