For any of our many science lovers who are wanting to view the solar eclipse tonight who havn't managed to get the special glasses - this is a really simple way to make a safe viewer using a cereal box and some tin foil.

I Just want to say a massive thank you to each and every pupil, parent, staff member and governor and Friends of Irchester Community Primary School for your support throughout the year. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community and it is an honour and a privilege to be the Head of School at ICPS. I truly have the best job in the world! Hopefully your child leaves the school year with fond and happy memories. I hope you all have a great summer and enjoy making family memories. Good luck to the year 6's as they go on their next adventure and welcome to our new cohort of Sept 2026! Love to all of the ICPS family.

A huge well done to the year 5/6 girls cricket team who took part in the county finals today. They won 2 of their 4 matches and showed resilience and great teamwork. What a great way to finish a fantastic year of sporting tournaments across the school. Well done to everyone who has represented ICPS this year, you are all superstars!

Another Year of amazing science in Lab 13 at ICPS…. I could post 1000 photos! Science clubs, practical science lessons, amazing visitors, brilliant events, outdoor learning, a lot of marshmallows and the most fun! Now to start planning how we make next year even bigger and better! 🤩

The Spencer Park Junior parkrun is on every Sunday - we had a great time last week and we would love to see you there this week too! 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️

What a great day it was to welcome Irchester Community Primary School for their parkrun Primary event at our event #234!

60 juniors participated, supported by 24 volunteers! 10 of our finishers were doing their first ever junior parkrun.

Arthur and Alexander received their half marathon wristbands - huge congratulations to them!
