This week we enjoyed a wonderful walk to Wellingborough Museum! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🌞

The children had a fantastic time exploring the museum and discovering some of the fascinating history of our local area. They were especially interested in seeing the fossils, models of old homes and trains, and learning about Wellingborough's old swimming pool. There were lots of great discussions as the children shared what they noticed and asked thoughtful questions about how things have changed over time.

Our walk also gave us the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, practise road safety, and build confidence as we explored our local community together.

It was a lovely morning full of learning, curiosity, and fun. Thank you to Wellingborough Museum for such an enjoyable visit! 😊💙

This week in our baking activity, the children made delicious vanilla cheesecake! 🍰

They had lots of fun measuring, mixing, and creating their tasty treats. The best part was enjoying their homemade vanilla cheesecake for pudding at lunchtime, and it was a big hit with everyone! 😊

Well done to all of our fantastic little bakers! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳💛

🍎🥧 From shopping to baking! 🥧🍐

Earlier this week, our children enjoyed a walk to Morrisons to buy the ingredients they needed for a special baking activity. Along the way, they talked about the different fruits, practised road safety, and enjoyed being out in the local community.

Today, they put those ingredients to good use by making a delicious apple and pear crumble! The children helped to prepare the fruit, mix the crumble topping, and watched as it baked to perfection.

The best part? Everyone got to enjoy their homemade crumble as part of today's lunch! 😋

Activities like these help children develop important life skills, encourage independence, and make learning fun through real-life experiences.

🎓✨ What a special way to end an incredible year! ✨🎓

Last Friday, we celebrated our amazing preschool graduates as they took their first big step towards their next adventure. Watching their confidence, friendships, and personalities blossom has been such a privilege, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them.

To our wonderful graduates – keep dreaming, keep exploring, and never stop believing in yourselves. We know you're going to do amazing things! 💛

🌳🌼 We are so fortunate to be just a short walk from the town centre, giving us endless opportunities to explore the world around us! Every outing is a chance for our children to learn, discover, and enjoy new experiences within our local community.

Today, our babies and toddlers had a fantastic time at the park. They loved exploring the play equipment, feeling the fresh air, watching the world around them, and developing their confidence through active play. From climbing and sliding to spotting birds and chatting about what they could see, there were smiles all around!

We love making the most of the amazing places on our doorstep and creating meaningful memories together. 💚

🚗🎨 Our babies and toddlers had a wonderful time exploring mark making today!

The children rolled toy cars through colourful paint before sending them down the slide onto large sheets of paper, creating lots of exciting patterns and tracks. This fun, hands-on activity encouraged creativity, curiosity, and early mark making skills while supporting their fine motor development.

There were plenty of smiles, colourful creations, and lots of excitement as the children experimented with different colours and watched the unique marks appear. What a fantastic way to learn through play! 💛🌈

Our Preschool children have been thoroughly enjoying games of UNO throughout the past week! 🎉🃏

What started as a simple card game quickly became a favourite activity, with the children eagerly taking turns, matching colours and numbers, and celebrating each other's successes.

Playing UNO offers so many wonderful learning opportunities. The children have been developing their turn-taking skills, learning to follow rules, recognising colours and numbers, using problem-solving skills, and practising patience and resilience. It's also a fantastic way to encourage communication, teamwork, and positive friendships.

Most importantly, the children have had lots of fun learning together, proving that some of the best learning happens through play! ❤️💙💛💚
