❤️Year 10 Poland Trip ❤️ Another wonderful trip to Poland with our Year 10 students. During their 4 day trip they visited the Jewish quarter, the Salt Mines and Auschwitz Birkenau. They also had the wonderful experience of meeting with a Holocaust survivor and heard her amazing story.

This is our 3rd annual visit to Krakow and we look forward to taking the current Year 9 in February 2027.

Thank you to Mrs Charlton, Miss Alaaldin, Mr Brothwood and Mr Mistry for taking the students on this very emotional and special trip.

We were honoured to welcome legendary sprinter Dwain Chambers, along with Councillor Marc Anton and the Mayor of Hertsmere.

Dwain shared an incredible talk with our students about the highs and lows of his journey, and how hard word, discipline and resilience shaped his success.

Today we mark .
We commemorate the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions more murdered under N**i persecution. Prejudice still continues today within our communities and across the UK. We also learn and commemorate where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

Two year 7 forms have visited . They embraced the challenge of creating a pitch which involved team work, leadership, creativity and communication.

They brought to life their own ‘pitch’ and became actor’s, directors, editors, camera operators, stylists and learnt about roles behind and in front of the camera. Thank you the students loved it. We are so proud of what they achieved.

Over the next few weeks more Y7 forms will visit and have the same exciting opportunities.
