JC Little Explorers was inspected by Ofsted on 23 April 2026, and we achieved a Strong Standard — leaders and staff working above what's expected — in four key areas, with safeguarding standards fully met.
✔ Behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines
"Children thrive in the warm and welcoming environment" we've created, with clear routines that help them "feel safe, secure and confident."

✔ Children's welfare and wellbeing
Inspectors praised our children's "impressive independence," our "highly impressive programme of physical development," and our "highly effective" key-person system, which helps children "form warm and loving bonds with staff."

✔ Inclusion
Ofsted highlighted our "highly inclusive culture," noting staff "identify children with SEND early and support them very effectively," working closely with families throughout.

✔ Leadership and governance
Inspectors noted our "excellent partnerships with external professionals and parents" and bespoke settling-in periods tailored to each child's needs.
