We asked the cast of Spa Theatre Company what our amazing Director Holly gets up to in rehearsal… 👀

And let’s just say… they had plenty to say! 😂 There’s never a dull moment with Holly and our brilliant production team — from keeping everyone on track to the chaos, laughs and everything in between!

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at this week’s rehearsal. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

THROWBACK THURSDAY
Today we’re celebrating one of our most recent Spa Theatre alumni, Charlie Madden!

From his days at Spa, Charlie has made some lifelong friends, unforgettable memories and plenty of moments that will stay with him for years to come.

Charlie has gone on to smash his GCSEs — and we couldn’t be prouder! Now, he’s ready to take the next exciting step as he heads into Sixth Form!

Charlie, it’s been fantastic watching you grow, achieve and make memories along the way. We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!
Once SPA, always part of the SPA family💙

Boppin’ to the Top with our Throwback Thursday!

Following on from our original Ryan from High School Musical last week, it’s only right we shine the spotlight on our first-ever Sharpay! 💖✨

Throwing it back to 2014 and celebrating a very special member of our Spa Theatre family — Lauren Bignall, our ORIGINAL Sharpay!

It’s lovely to see how much Lauren enjoyed her time at SPA and how the confidence, creativity and teamwork she gained through performing that have stayed with her.🎭

A wonderful reminder that the skills and memories made at Spa last long after the curtain closes.

Throwback Thursday 🤍

Throwing it back to 2015 and our original Ryan in High School Musical, the brilliant Laurie Owen Ward! 🎭

Laurie was such a special part of our Spa Theatre family, bringing so much talent, energy and personality to the stage. He loved his time at Spa so much that it inspired him to stay in the music industry and build a career doing what he loves. ❤️

It’s amazing to look back and see how those experiences can have such a lasting impact. Moments like this remind us just how incredible our Spa alumni are and how proud we are to have been a small part of their journeys.

It’s wonderful to see the amazing things our Spa alumni go on to achieve!

Results day!

Yesterday was such a proud day for us at Spa Theatre! We couldn’t be happier for our wonderful former assistants, Sasha and Dolly.

Sasha is off to Bird College to study Musical Theatre, and Dolly is heading to York to study Writing, Directing & Performing.

It’s been so special watching you both grow, and we feel incredibly lucky to have been part of your journeys. ❤️

We’re so proud of you both and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. Go make us proud! 🌟🎭
