It’s that time of the year again. Starting tomorrow at 11 am, you have the chance to nominate yourself in our general elections for the following roles:
✔️President
✔️Vice-president
✔️Treasurer
✔️Events & Socials Secretary

To nominate yourself, you must upload a manifesto on https://www.warwicksu.com/societies-sports/societies/romanianspeakingsoc/ until 24/04. Voting period will occur 25/04-06/05. Good luck to you all!

The idea behind this event has always been to promote collaboration and unity between the nations of our region at Warwick and beyond. The past 6 days have highlighted the importance of this vision.

Wars are meant to scare and divide. We are neither scared, nor divided. We stand united in our support for Ukraine and its people.
And this is why Eastern European party is going ahead with an enhanced vision - all profits from the event will get donated to Ukrainian Red Cross.

Due to overwhelming support for the event and to raise more funds for the cause we are moving it to Wednesday, 9th of March to release another batch of 250 tickets on Thursday, 3rd of March at 6pm.

If you can’t make it to the new date and wish to return your tickets, you can do that directly through Fixr.

Warwick Romanian Speaking Society is welcoming everyone to celebrate Little 1 March and learn a little bit about Romanian and Eastern European Traditions. Come by our stand in the Piazza on Tuesday, 1st of March to get a 'Mărțișor', a traditional Romanian talisman that is said to bring luck to the ones wearing it but also to the ones gifting it at the beginning of Spring. All the profits will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross to support our fellow neighbours in these times of hardship. We are looking forward to see you to celebrate the beginning of Spring by learning a little about Romania!
