🍿📚 Monday 12th – Oak Class Poems and Popcorn.
Parents and carers of children in Oak Class are warmly welcome to join us at 2:45pm for our Poems and Popcorn event! We look forward to seeing you there. 💛

🏰🌳 Thursday 15th – Elm Class Trip..
Elm Class will be enjoying a walk to Polesworth Abbey. Please remember its school uniform and not pe kit, a water proof coat and appropriate footwear are needed.🚶‍♀️🍂

🧦🌈 Friday 16th – Silly Socks Day!
It’s time to show off those brightest, funniest and silliest socks for our dress-down day! Just £1 per child. 💷

We’re looking forward to another fun-filled week of learning, adventures and smiles! 😊💙

We have lots happening in school next week, so please take a moment to check the dates and times on our poster and make a note of anything that applies to you. 📅✨

🌍 We’ll be launching Black History Month
🏫 Welcoming families for our 2027 school starter open afternoons and mornings
📸 Individual and sibling photographs will be taking place
🍂 And we’ll be celebrating with our Harvest Assembly.

There’s lots to look forward to, and we can’t wait to see our children, families and new starters throughout the week! 💙

Welcome to the Warton Nethersoles PTA (FAWNS) page! 👋

This page will be updated weekly with the latest school information, important reminders, upcoming dates and events, as well as everything happening through FAWNS. 📅✨

We’re also looking for some lovely volunteers to join us and help make the most of the year ahead! 🎉

FAWNS is all about bringing our school community together, supporting our children and helping to create some brilliant experiences for them. 💚

We’ll be sharing school updates, promoting events, supporting fundraising and keeping everyone in the loop — and we’d love some extra pairs of hands (and ideas!) along the way. 🙌 You don’t need to have loads of spare time or PTA experience — every little bit helps! 💛 A Note from us - Farewell 💛

Dear all,

it’s time for us to say goodbye – and to step down as Chair, Secretary, Events Manager, Treasurer and elected committee member.

It’s been such a pleasure to be part of this small but brilliant team. We’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together – from summer fetes to discos, Christmas fairs and all the little extras that have brought smiles to the children and support to the school.

Being a part of FAWNS has been more than just organising events – it’s been about building friendships, supporting the school community, and seeing the children benefit from our efforts. We’ve loved every minute, and we will treasure the memories.

To those of you who’ve helped – whether by baking a cake, running a stall, donating raffle prizes, or just offering your time – thank you so much. Your support has meant the world.

As we hand things over, we really hope more of you will consider getting involved. You don’t need loads of time or experience – just a bit of enthusiasm and a willingness to pitch in now and again. The more hands the team have, the lighter the load – and the more fun that can be had along the way!

Thank you again for all your support. It’s been an honour for us to be part of such a lovely community, and we will really miss it.

It’s going to be hot afternoon for sports day!☀️ don’t forget FAWNS have drinks and ice creams for sale. We’ll see you soon! 🍦🥤

During sports afternoon on Friday will be selling refreshments. 🍦🧃Spectators can purchase at any time during the event but if it’s for one of the children taking part we ask that a purchase is made at the end of the event at the request of the school. Cash and card are accepted.
We look forward to seeing many of you on Friday!

With only 4 and a bit weeks left of school it won’t be long before it’s time to be buying uniform again. Don’t forget there is good quality second hand uniform available in the school entrance with a donation bucket, it’s definitely worth a look at. If anyone has uniform in good condition that is no longer of use it can be donated to the school through the office.

Want to register for this years Fun Run?
Do you live in Warton or locally?

Starting from tomorrow and each Wednesday evening going forward I will be at The Office At Warton pub from 5-6pm where you can come and complete a registration form for this years 2025 Abbott Run 📝

Just ask for Charlotte or look out for the blue T-shirt!

This years signing up costs are £15 per adult and £8 per child up to 16 years (babies free) taking part (please bring CASH only to register)

Things are a little different; there are NO T-SHIRTS provided this year, so we ask for one of the following;
-fancy dress - as wacky as you like
-last years or previous years fun run T-shirts
-loud, bold, bright, colourful clothing

We hope to see lots of you signing up 💛 🏃🏼‍♀️

A Massive thank you to all those that took part in the FAWNS walking procession during Warton Carnival today. We are so proud of the children, and grateful to the parents for the support ❤️ We had a fantastic time! Also a big thank you to our events manager Leanne, she did a fantastic job with all the outfits, accessories and the banner, everyone looked brilliant! 🤩
