We are all teachers who tutor.

Many of us have been exam markers. We study examiners’ reports, and we actively explore how mark schemes are applied to students’ work.

We share all of this knowledge and information with your child so that they understand how and why marks are awarded for each answer written in an exam.

We model answers that will gain maximum marks and support your child so that they can produce these answers when required.

This helps our students to move through grade boundaries and to meet (and often exceed) their predicted grades.

Imagine yourself in a crowded room for a meeting. You don’t understand what’s just been said, and you are desperate to ask for clarification but aren’t confident to speak up. The moment passes and the meeting moves on. You’ve missed your chance and nothing that follows makes sense either!

For children who find a class of 30 students somewhat overwhelming, working in a small group can make all the difference to their confidence and progress.

Very quickly, students feel settled into our groups and feel confident to ask the questions they don’t necessarily put their hand up to ask in class.

Because we’re not tied to a fixed way of working, we can deliver exactly what is needed, when it’s needed.
