Start CPR START CPR are a caring and professional training provider of First Aid courses. We deliver courses not only in office hours but also at weekends and evenings.

We offer a flexible approach to delivering first aid qualifications to local and national organisations in both the private and public sector. Our aim is to make it easily achievable for businesses to appoint first aiders within the workplace, cost effectively and with minimum disruption to daily business! We currently offer three day First Aid in the workplace, annual refreshers and re-qualificat

ion as well as Level 2 Emergency First Aid in the Workplace and Level 2 Paediatric First Aid. These qualifications are valid for three years with exception to the annual refresher. We also offer a course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation
Our male and female instructors are qualified first aid instructors delivering HSE approved courses. They will travel to either your workplace or training can be undertaken at our training centres.

And the total is in from last nights fundraiser

A grand total of £2304.52 has been raised.

This exceeds our goal of £1200 and should allow us to purchase 2 defibrillators for use in the community.

Shocking Facts...

It is estimated that 270 cardiac arrests occur in schools in the UK each year

In 2011 in London, 56 people died from a fire compared to 10,000 people who suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest, yet fire extinguishers are statutory and defibrillators are not.

Congratulations to SADS UK for collecting over 8000 signatures for the Big Shock campaign petition calling for defibrillators to be available in all schools. This petition was handed in to 10 Downing Street on 20th June 2013
