Some lovely feedback from one of our new Year 7 parents. We're thoroughly enjoying getting to know the newest members of our school community and creating the conditions needed for them to flourish here.

"As parents we are absolutely over the moon that we changed our preferred school to Bruche!

On the first day he was petrified and on the verge of tears entering the school grounds because he didn't know a single person. His anxiety was high. I left him there and spent the entire day worrying about him. However, when I picked him up he had the biggest smile on his face. He loves the school and has already made some amazing friends. Every day he walks out of those gates smiling and full of chat about his day. It's so nice for us to know that he's settled in so quickly.

We've reached another significant milestone at Bruche Academy with the arrival of our first delivery of books for the Secondary Phase library.

To ensure we chose the right titles, our new Year 7s selected books they’d like us to order. Each pupil will be the first to read their chosen book, which will then be added to the library with a sticker featuring their name to commemorate their contribution.

It’s been an exciting week at Bruche Academy, where the doors have officially opened to the first cohort of Year Sevens.

...and we're off! We had a brilliant first day yesterday at Bruche Academy, welcoming our first cohort of Year 7 pupils as we grow into Warrington's first all-through school. Yesterday, we thought about what it means to write our stories and to aim high; watch this space for more updates as this exciting new chapter unfolds.

Reception's fun at the farm! We met an owl called Apollo, had a very bumpy tractor ride to feed some donkeys, saw 5-day old piglets and had a hold of some chicks and rabbits in pet's corner. A very hot but lovely time at the farm. 🙂

Our new Year One class had a wonderful time at their Teddy Bear's Picnic Transition day! 🐻

Wow! We have loved seeing all of the amazing Fire of London houses that our Year 1 children have created at home.

The creativity, effort and hard work that has gone into these projects has been incredible, and every single house is unique and special in its own way.

A huge thank you to all of our Year 1 children for their fantastic efforts, and to parents and carers for all of your support with the projects too. We are so proud of what you have created and have really enjoyed seeing them all in school!
