🌟 Well done to this week’s Stars and Value Champions!

We also celebrated some fantastic achievements outside of school, including an Irish dancing superstar, swimmers raising money for charity with their local Rainbow group, a football player of the match and an amazing runner who completed the 1km race at the Bournemouth Running Festival! 🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️💃

What a wonderful range of talents and achievements we have here at Stoborough! We’re very proud of you all! 🌟

Our pupil librarians are back in action! 📚

Our wonderful pupil librarians are back on duty in the school library! They'll be busy keeping the library organised, helping other pupils choose books, scanning books in and out, and, of course, sharing stories with our younger children.

They are fantastic advocates for reading for pleasure, and we love seeing them share their enthusiasm for books with others! 📖❤️

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday welcoming family members into Hedgehog Class for our Stay and Play session.

The children were so excited to have their special visitors at school and were incredibly proud to show off their classroom, learning garden and all of the wonderful things they enjoy doing each day. It was great to see everyone playing, learning and exploring together. 🖍️🧩🧸

A big thank you to all the families who came along and made the afternoon so special. The children loved sharing part of their school day with you! 🤩

A special mention to our Year 6 boys' football team, who won their tournament, competing against teams from 10 schools! 🏆

⚙️ Loose Parts Play ⚙️

This week, we introduced large loose parts to our 'Positive Play' provision at lunchtimes, and what a success it has been!

Using tyres, crates and tubes, the children have been busy designing, building, problem-solving and engaging in imaginative play. It has been wonderful to see them working collaboratively, demonstrating teamwork and creativity, and finding so much joy in such simple resources. 🤩
