ALDERSBROOK HOUSE

We designed some key bespoke joinery moments around the house providing comfort and solving the storage needs of the clients. And did a beautiful job of interpreting our design and carefully crafting these joyful storage solutions.

Here, the new and restored library and office space provides a lovely transition space to the reading nook beyond. New bespoke bookshelves and double doors with fanlights balance bringing light and connections to this central room whilst keeping the room feeling cozy and a calm place to pause.

ALDERSBROOK HOUSE

Our Aldersbrook House kitchen design was a result of client conversations and design studies focusing on how to best reconfigure and utilise the ground floor of the property to reorientate it towards its beautiful rear garden.

The dining space became the heart of the family spaces visually and physically connecting the garden through large glazed doors and a cozy reading nook & window seat. The kitchen was relocated out of the extension and orientated as much as possible towards dining and the garden beyond. To help these connections, a bigger structural opening was formed connecting both spaces.

Inspired by our client’s art and pottery reference images and postcards, a cohesive palette of soft and calming blue pottery hues paired with William Morris Honeysuckle green was applied to the kitchen, dining, library room and external doors to garden.
