Date reminder 📆 Our next Rags2Riches4School collection is on the 22.09.2026 so if you are having a clear out or planning a clear out please think of saving your preloved clothes, shoes, bags and costume jewellery for us. Collection will be before 9am on the day at the school. Please put all donations in a clean plastic bag. ♻️

We’ll also be putting somethings on Vinted to help us raise even more money, so if you think you have something which might be worth a little more please put it in a separate bag and hand to our helper on the day 🛍️

All monies raised go towards helping to support the children at our school.

What a fete! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fantastic success.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event, and spent their hard-earned money. Special thanks to The Harrow for providing the delicious BBQ food, and to Primary Homes & Lettings for sponsoring our inflatables. Thank you to Glamarose for supplying the much-needed sugar boost, and to the incredible generosity of local people and businesses who donated raffle prizes.

We’re also very grateful to everyone who lent us a gazebo to provide some much-needed shade.

A big thank you to the police officers and firefighters who joined us today – we really appreciated your support and presence. 🚓 🚒

Most of all, thank you to our amazing army of volunteers including our amazing school staff. We genuinely could not have done it without you. Thanks to your hard work, we were able to run all the stalls we had hoped for, and for what feels like the first time in a long while, we had enough volunteers to keep everything running smoothly – including minimal queues at the bar!

Thank you to everyone who helped set up on a ridiculously hot evening yesterday, who arrived early this morning and finished the set up, and to the absolute superstars who stayed behind after the fete to help clear up and pack away. Everyone forgets this bit but it always feels the hardest.

What an amazing fete, and what an amazing community to be part of. 💛

We’re going to be counting the money raised for quite some time, but we can’t wait to share the final total with you all. Thank you again for making it such a wonderful day! 💰

To confirm the winners of the Adult and the Child treasure maps have now been drawn at random (as we did not sell all the squares) and the winners have been notified 🍀

🎉 Today’s the Day – Fete Day! 🎉

We can’t wait to see you all from 12pm for what looks set to be a fantastic (and very hot!) day. Don’t forget the sunscreen.

☀️ Please feel free to bring a picnic rug and find yourself a spot in the shade. We’ve also put lots of chairs around the school field to help everyone stay comfortable and out of the sun when needed.

💛 A gentle reminder that everyone helping today, including all staff, are volunteers. Please be kind, patient and supportive, and help us out where you can.

🗑️ Please use the bins provided (or take your rubbish home with you) and put all cans in the recycling bins at the bar. This is our children’s school, and it’s not fair for them to be finding empty cans in the plant pots on Monday morning.

⭐ If you can spare even 30 minutes at the end of the fete to help take down gazebos, return uniform boxes to the shed, dismantle the bar, or put tables and chairs back in the hall, you’ll be one of our stars, and will definitely have earnt good karma.

🚗 Please note there is no parking at the school today due to the fire engine and police car attendance, and to help keep all of our children safe. Please park considerately around the village or use Hoopers Field, which is only a short walk away.

Although Feteball football tournament is not on (because of the heat 🥵) we love the beautiful game, and the goals have been left out for the opportunity for a gentle kick around. Because as we all know 🎶 football is coming home 🎶 we even have a stall selling all your 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 merch ready for this evenings game.

Most importantly, we hope you have a wonderful day. Every penny spent today will help us raise much-needed funds to support our children and enrich their experience at school.

💷 Cash is back to being king at the fete! SumUp now charges us around 2% on transactions, so if you're able to bring cash, every penny saved on fees goes straight back to supporting our children. QR code payments will still be available.

Tomorrow is the School fete 🥳

There will be no parking in the school grounds. This is because we will have a fire engine 🚒 and a police car 🚓 that need space to manoeuvre and for the safety of all our children 💛

Please park considerately and not on double yellow lines.

☀️🎟️ Raffle Reminder 🎟️☀️

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the final day to return all raffle ticket stubs, monies, and any unsold tickets to the school reception.

If you have any unsold tickets, please return them so we can sell them on the day and maximise the funds raised for our school.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already bought tickets and supported our raffle. Your generosity really does make a difference.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to all the AMAZING local businesses and companies who have kindly donated such fantastic prizes this year. Look 👀 at all the amazing prices we have ⬇️ The raffle is one of our biggest fundraisers, and without your support and generosity, we simply wouldn’t be able to raise the money that benefits our school community. We are incredibly grateful.

For anyone who hasn't had a chance to buy tickets yet, they will still be available to purchase on the day until 3pm, but please note that raffle ticket purchases on the day will be cash only.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported us by donating prizes, buying raffle tickets, treasure chest tickets, sponsoring the inflatables, providing the BBQ 🌭 , bringing the police car 🚓 or the fire engine 🚒, sponsoring stall prizes, selling cakes🧁 but most of all thank you to the most fantastic volunteers those who have been planning this fete for the last few months, the teachers and support staff coming in on their day off and donating their time, the people giving up a Friday evening or Saturday morning to help set everything up, those who have volunteered to run the stalls and the bar and those who have given a hour or so at the end of the day to tidy up! You are AMAZING!!

We can't wait to see you all at the Summer Fete on Saturday from 12pm–4pm!
