Kicking off the new term with some wonderful news! 👏

Our lovely Ivy has been offered a place on the Royal Ballet School’s Advanced Associate Programme. Ivy has worked immensely hard and is so deserving of this opportunity. Thank you to everyone that has helped, trained and supported her on this journey. We are absolutely thrilled for you Ivy 🌹

Reflecting on All England Nationals 2026 💜

So proud of all of our dancers for well and truly earning their place on that National stage! We have only been to Finals a handful of times, and this year our little school smashed several personal records. 🌟💫

Such stunning performances, that moved us to tears, and even some EXCEPTIONAL marks in there (28+) 🥹

We could not be more proud of each and every one of our dancers, performing across groups, quartets, trios, duets and solos… from ballet and contemporary through to tap!

Massive thanks to our wonderful choreographers, it felt so special to have pieces from each of us performing at finals. 💪

A special mention to Hattie who took to the stage for her final NSD performances, it was a very emotional but beautiful way to bring in her next chapter.

Hugely proud of ALL of our elite teams who have come so far in the 2024-2026 cycle💫

Part 2! Well… our dancers truly rose to the occasion, delivering passionate, polished and emotional performances.

It was our first time at the and a truly wonderful experience for all involved. Thank you so much to Jo and for this amazing opportunity.

We flew to Dublin with no expectations, just hoping to enjoy the experience, perform our best and take it all in. To come home with a 5th place in the Children’s Contemporary group section was an incredible feeling.

Thank you to all at NSD who have supported our dancers throughout our fundraising events!

The growth over the past year for this group of dancers has been absolutely incredible. The focus, determination and commitment shown backstage today was outstanding.

Thank you to all the parents helping, supporting and cheering us on behind the scenes. Thank you to Kathy for our gorgeous costumes.
And a huge thank you to and the DWC for this incredible opportunity, and for creating such a wonderful, uplifting environment for our dancers to thrive.

As we head into our final classes of the year, we reflect on Hattie’s beautiful journey at NSD 🥺

Hattie is off to further her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in September 2026 👏

We couldn’t be more proud of everything she has achieved in the past 15 years with us.

Hattie has always been an absolute joy to teach. Watching her grow in confidence, as a person and dancer, has been a true honour. She has become an incredible role model for all at NSD, and she will be missed by everyone.

We’ve shed many tears, reflected and celebrated over the past few weeks. We can’t wait to watch Hattie shine at DWC and AED Nationals over the next month ⭐

We are endlessly proud, and wishing you all the luck in the world Hattie (not that you’ll need it).

🏆 NSD Awards Day 2026 🎭

We did it! What a day. Over 6 hours of dancing, 88 beautiful dancers. So much hard work, talent and passion up on that stage.

Dancers, you blew us away! From our baby ballerinas to our seniors, we are so proud of you all!

The way our dancers supported eachother, celebrating eachothers successes with kindness, love and humility makes me the proudest principal alive.

Our NSD family is simply the best, from dancers, to teachers, chaperones, volunteers and the most supportive parents.

Thank you so much to Louise Callin for being a truly fabulous adjudicator.

Thank you to everyone that helped the day to run smoothly, creating lasting memories for all.
