***Casting news***

Here is a bit more about our wonderful cast of "The Thought on The Stairs" by Louise Jameson. HE played by Colin Stinton and SHE played by Sarah Simpkins.

Directed by the wonderful Scott Le Crass, Equilibrium Associate Artist.

COLIN STINTON
Since moving from New York to London in 1985, Colin has worked extensively at the Royal National Theatre, in world and British premieres of plays by David Hare ("Wrecked Eggs" and "The Bay at Nice"), Dusty Hughes ("Futurists"), John Osborne/ Strindberg ("The Father"), and David Mamet ("Mr. Happiness", "A Sermon", "Speed-the-Plow"), as well as American classics such as "Night of the Iguana", "Sweet Bird of Youth", "Death of a Salesman" and "Guys and Dolls". His West End premieres include Terry Johnson's adaptation of "The Graduate", Tom Stoppard's "Indian Ink", Ian Kelly's "Mr. Foot's Other Leg", and British premieres at the Royal Court of plays by Howard Korder ("Search and Destroy", "The Lights"); David Mamet ("The Old Neighborhood", "Edmond"); and, at the Almeida, a new adaptation of Marivaux's "The Triumph of Love". His Broadway premieres include Mamet's "The Water Engine", William Alfred's "Curse of an Aching Heart", and Richard Nelson's "Some Americans Abroad". He premiered Mamet's "Dr. Faustus" in San Francisco, with the playwright directing. Film work includes: "The Verdict", "Daniel", "Homicide", "The Russia House", "In Love and War", "The Infiltrator", "Deadly Voyage", "Tomorrow Never Dies", "The Winslow Boy", "The Hours", "Quicksand", "Spy Game", "Proof", "Rush", "The Current War", and "Borg vs McEnroe"

SARAH SIMPKINS trained with the Actors Company eight years ago having previously worked in corporate hospitality and teaching.

Theatre credits include Relatively Speaking (Theatre Royal Bath), two number one tours with Calendar Girls (Ambassadors Theatre Group), The Importance of Being Ernest (Rose Theatre Kingston), Bedroom Farce (Duke of Yorks), Hannah and Martin (Court Theatre), Gaslight (The English Theatre Frankfurt) and Undiscovered Country (The New Players Theatre). She has made numerous short films and also works in corporate roleplay and voice over.

***CASTING NEWS***
In our final piece, "Harry and Judy" by associate artist Caitlin Shannon, Harry will be played by William Donaldson and Judy by Ann Queensberry. The director is Scott Le Crass. What a tremendously talented bunch they all are!

Ann Queensberry has been an actor for seventy years and before that she went to eighteen schools. Recent work in the theatre includes Uncle Vanya at the Almeida Theatre, The Three Sisters at the Young Vic and La Fausse Suivante at the Bouffes du Nord in Paris. The last two films she made are Final Score and Patrick, both still to come out. She was also in the recent television version of Maigret. She lives in Clerkenwell with her cat Boris.

William Donaldson trained at LAMDA. Career credits include: RuPaul Charles in the Edinburgh Award winning production of Prom Kween (Rebecca Humphries), Boris in Boris Got Bu**ered (Theatre Delicatessen, dir. Scott Le Crass), Friar Lawrence in Romeo & Juliet (Actors from the London Stage, US Tour), Prospero in The Tempest(YSC, dir. Chris Geelan), Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet (YSC, dir. Chris Geelan), Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard(Brockley Jack, dir. Matthew Parker), The Wicked Queen in Snow White (Old Vic, dir. Kirsty Patrick Ward). Film credits include Captain Webb (Marathon Films, dir. Justin Hardy).
In 2018 William will reprise his role as RuPaul Charles in Prom Kween, and work with groundbreaking physical theatre company Rhum & Clay on Testosterone.

We are so excited that Yasmeen Khalaf and Gil Sutherland will be joining us as Gallymay and Xzamz in "Rusty Pineapple" by Archie Maddocks, directed by our associate artist Scott LeCrass

Yasmeen's credits include: EMPEROR AND GALLEON (National Theatre), THE KILBURN PASSION (Tricyle Theatre), Janet Steel’s TWELVE (Kali Theatre/Tristan Bates), Bijan Sheibani’s THE HOUSE OF BERNARD ALBA (The Almeida Theatre).
Film and Television includes REMAINDER (Tigerlily Films), MAN UP (Big Talk Productions) and GOODBYE LOOK (ClockPunch).

Gil trained at the Webber Douglas Academy winning the Rodney Millington Spotlight Award in his final year.
His many and varied credits include: Polonius in PECKHAM HAMLET, HOUSE BY THE SEA (BAC), CABAL&LOVE (Lyric Hammersmith), JULIUS CAESAR (Leicester Haymarket)
Film includes: THE BANKSY JOB, A MISS IN HER TEENS, and LAW AND ORDER (BBC)
