Yesterday, our Attendance Champions and attendance staff came together for our annual attendance training, strengthening our shared commitment to improving attendance, belonging and outcomes for every child and young person.
Good attendance is built through strong relationships, early support and, most importantly, working together.

By bringing our teams together, sharing knowledge and good practice, and keeping belonging at the heart of what we do, we can continue to make a positive difference to school attendance across the Lighthouse academies.

Our attendance on the first day back at school was 95.1% thank you to all of the families who brought their child to school for a fun filled day! We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and cannot believe it is Friday already!
Remember - there are several ways to report attendance including a phone call, an email, a Class Dojo message and on the Arbor Parent Portal. If you need any support, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of staff!

Wow! What a fantastic start to attendance at Castlefort Academy. This year, we’ve started a new initiative to reward the class with the highest attendance each week. This week’s winner was Year 2 with an incredible 97.9%. Please see the information below to find out what they’ve been able to choose as a result of their incredible attendance. What a fun, new way to celebrate success!

Welcome back!

We’re delighted to share that 96% of our pupils returned to our academies for the first day of the new academic year!

It was fantastic to welcome so many of our pupils back through the doors, ready for a new year filled with learning, opportunities, friendships and achievements.

A huge thank you to our pupils, families and staff for making such a positive start to the year.
We look forward to welcoming all of our pupils back tomorrow for another exciting day of learning!
