After a few weeks of being not well and having a death in the family, I am now back to the land of the living and I am now ready to start offering some courses.

We are offering a skinfade masterclass class day course. This is perfect for those that want to improve clipper and skinfade skills.

Well done to Charlotte on achieving her Barbering certificate.

Charlotte is a hairdresser by trade, but was inexperienced with Barbering and wanted to learn more about clipper work which included fades. She was a complete natural. She was a pleasure to teach and picked it up really well.

Last of the cuts for the clipper training day.

Considering Charlotte hadn't done a fade before and wasn't confident with clippers, she done so well. Hopefully she will be able to put her new skills to practice and improve her learning and development

I had a training day with Charlotte, my very first student since launching courses.

Not every hairdresser has experience with barbering, and Charlotte wanted to broaden her hairdressing expertise by offering men’s haircut services. She was especially keen to develop her clipper work and learn skin fades.

She did an incredible job on the day and proved to be a natural, particularly as she had never done a skin fade before. By the end of the course, she had gained far more skills and confidence, and I’m certain she’ll go far with her new abilities.

When booking a course, you can be rest assured we are fully accredited by and to ensure the students make the most of the practical elements of the training, all theory is completed online via a portal with a multiple choice test at the end.

To be fair to Elly, she only qualified back in June and had only ever worked on training heads at college. For her to already be at this standard is just amazing! She’s such a natural, and I feel so lucky to have been part of her learning journey 💕

I only qualified this year myself in Teaching Adult Education (AET), so getting feedback like this has really given me a massive confidence boost too 🙌 and helps to know im teaching to high standards.

Lack of confidence is really heightened when its your first ever job and Joe puts a lot of pressure on himself to get the cut perfect and stresses over how long it takes. Ive explained to him that the process must always be right first and the timings will come naturally later .

Patience is key to learning and development

Hi everyone,

I’ve been reviewing the courses I planned to offer and have decided to take a different approach. I want to provide something unique, rather than just following what everyone else is doing.

I’ll no longer be offering fixed-length courses such as 5-day, 6-week, or 2-day options (with the exception of single-day skinfade training). I don’t believe training should be limited to a set timeframe—everyone learns at a different pace.

Instead, my courses will run on a daily rate. This way, I can tailor each session to the individual. Some people may need more time, while others pick things up quickly. This approach allows me to reduce the cost if you learn faster, or extend the training if you need extra support.

I believe this creates a fairer and more personalized experience, without making false promises like guaranteeing someone will be “fully fledged” in a set number of weeks. Everyone learns differently, and some students may feel unnecessary pressure under strict timescales—something I want to avoid.

My aim is to ensure everyone receives the same high-quality training, no matter their learning style or needs. By removing the pressure of deadlines, I hope to create a more relaxed environment where students can focus on learning and growing.
