Sensory play provides wonderful opportunities for babies to engage their senses, strengthen fine motor skills, and develop hand-eye coordination. The children showed great concentration as they discovered different ways to move and manipulate the rice βοΈ

π Loose Parts Exploration in Tulips π
This morning, our Tulips children enjoyed exploring a variety of loose parts and natural materials. They were so busy practising their threading skills, carefully concentrating as they threaded items together. Activities like these help to strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the small muscles needed for future writing and self-care tasks βοΈ
The children also enjoyed mark making in flour using their fingers, creating lines, shapes, and patterns. This sensory-rich activity supports early writing development, encourages creativity, and helps children become familiar with the movements needed for pencil control later on π«
It was wonderful to see so much focus, curiosity, and determination throughout the morning. We had some very concentrated little learners who were fully engaged in their play and exploration π
Well done, Tulips! π

Friendships That Bloom at Nursery π
Some of the most meaningful friendships begin in the earliest years. At nursery, children learn so much more than numbers, letters, and colours. They learn how to connect with others, share experiences, and build lasting bonds π
Moments like these, filled with laughter, curiosity, and messy play, help children develop important social skills. Through playing side by side, solving little challenges together, and sharing in exciting discoveries, children learn kindness, empathy, communication, and teamwork π
Friendships at nursery give children a sense of belonging and confidence, helping them feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. Whether theyβre making each other laugh, helping a friend, or simply enjoying a shared activity, these everyday interactions create memories that can last a lifetime βοΈ
We love seeing our children build such wonderful friendships and celebrate the joy they bring to one another every day β¨
