🌲📚A Gruffalo Adventure!📚🌲

The children have really enjoyed reading Julia Donaldson’s new story, The Gruffalo’s Granny! 🐾💚

It’s been wonderful seeing how excited and engaged they’ve been as we explored the story together

We’ve even set up some fun Gruffalo-inspired activities for the children to enjoy, bringing the story to life through play, creativity and learning 🎨🍂🐭

The Gruffalo fun doesn’t stop there! Next week, the children will be continuing with a Gruffalo theme, with lots more exciting activities planned. We’ll also be heading out on a very special adventure to visit the Gruffalo Trail at Cannock Chase! 🌳🥾

We can’t wait to see if we spot the Gruffalo hiding in the deep, dark wood… 👀🌲🐾

We’re collecting non-perishable food donations to support our local care homes, and we’d love our Precious Little families to get involved 🧡

If you’re able to help, please bring in any suitable food items such as tins, pasta, rice, cereal, biscuits, tea, coffee or other cupboard essentials. Even one or two items can make a real difference

📅 Please bring all donations in by Thursday 29th September so we can get everything together and deliver it to our local care homes

🌿🌳 Forest School is Back! 🌳🌿

We’re so excited to have enjoyed our first Forest School session of the new term! 🍂🐞🪵

Our Forest School sessions are led by our qualified Level 3 Forest School teacher, giving our children the opportunity to learn, explore and discover the natural world in a safe, nurturing and exciting environment

Forest School offers so many wonderful benefits for children, including:
🌱 Building confidence and independence
🪵 Developing problem-solving and practical skills
🐞 Encouraging curiosity and creativity
🌿 Supporting physical development and coordination
💚 Promoting wellbeing and a connection with nature
🤝 Developing communication, teamwork and resilience

One of the things we love most is that Forest School is for all ages across our nursery, so every child has the opportunity to experience outdoor learning and adventure in a way that is appropriate for their age and development 💫

Our babies and toddlers had a wonderful Kiddybops music session with Ellie today! 💚🎵

Through singing, music, movement and lots of hands-on fun, the children were busy learning while they played 💕

Music sessions are a lovely way to support listening and attention, communication and language, rhythm, coordination and social interaction🥁✨

The children loved exploring the sounds, joining in with the actions and sharing this special musical experience together. It was wonderful to see so much curiosity and engagement! 🌈

🌍🐾 Introducing our Animal Adventures! 🐾🌍

Each week, one of our children will be chosen to take one of our special animal friends home! 🐻🐯🐆

The animals each represent a different achievement or quality. For example, a child who has shown amazing teamwork that week might get to take home our Teamwork Tiger! 🐯⭐

Each animal has its very own passport, ready to be filled with photos, memories and all the exciting things they get up to together! 📸🏡✨

When they return, the children can share their adventures with their friends before the animal heads off on its next journey ✈️

We can’t wait to celebrate the children’s achievements and see where our animals’ adventures take them! ❤️🌎

🍂 New Term, New Adventures & New Friendships! 💛

As our children return this September for a brand-new term, there will be lots of exciting moments ahead, familiar faces to reconnect with and new little friendships waiting to blossom 🌼

Friendships are such an important part of childhood. Through making friends, children learn how to share, communicate, take turns, show kindness, understand others and, most importantly, feel that wonderful sense of belonging 🥰

For some children, making new friends comes naturally, while others may need a little extra reassurance and encouragement and that’s absolutely okay 💕

Our staff will be there every step of the way, creating opportunities for children to play together, helping them find shared interests, encouraging kindness and teamwork, and gently supporting those who may feel a little shy or unsure 💫

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and watch old friendships grow stronger and lots of lovely new ones begin 🌈✨

Here’s to a September filled with smiles, laughter, adventures and friendship! 🫶
