Early years educator in a home based environment (independent registered childminder) My name is Carley O’Neil and I am a British mother of 2, 1 girl and 1 boy (both primary age). We live in a 3 bedroom house with my husband Philip O’Neil (DBS checked, being registered as an assistant as sometimes home during the week) and we have three in

door cat named Candy, Dobby and Beany whom have been part of our family since our eldest was 10 months. I have completed my home based childcare course, pediatric first aid, food hygiene level 2 and I am currently completing my level 3 diploma in children and young people’s workforce. I am OFSTED registered and have been running as O’Neils Stars Childcare from July 1st 2014. During the week I make sure all children have a chance to complete adult and child led activities. I plan our time together based around their individual educational needs and their preferred interests. We go out and attend toddler groups, soft play and library rhyme time sessions together as a group and I always make sure they are taken to either the park or communal garden (which one is dependent on weather) on a daily basis. We do also take trips swimming, bowling and to farms whenever possible (subject to additional charge). I provide care from 6 months- 8 years between 48-50 weeks each year (subject to holiday being taken and this will be notified at least 2 months in advance). I offer full day, half day, school day, school run and ad-hoc hour care.
