Intensive 2 or 3 day, hands-on and practical based courses, with a very high tutor to participant ratio. Aimed at junior doctors, who have little or no previous experience in Plastic Surgery or related subspecialties, but who wish to improve their knowledge base and acquire new technical skills. The Microsurgery course in particular is also very suitable as a refresher course for more senior trainees wanting a sustained period of time practicing more advanced microsurgical skills. The courses utilise a combination of organic and synthetic simulators, specifically designed and purpose built to teach the fundamental techniques of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Burn Surgery. The generously timed practicals are augmented with short lectures covering the breadth of Plastic Surgery and related subspecialties.
