James Farmer, one of our doctoral researchers, has organised a replacement event for the statue wars discussion with Inge Dornan and Alison Carrol which we had to cancel earlier this month.

The event will take place this week 24th June at 2pm on the lawn opposite the Meeting House (the Meeting House is the small building between Marie Jahoda and Gaskell which houses our chaplaincies). Inge and Alison will give a joint presentation / roundtable discussion on the statue wars, followed by a small social. You may know Inge and Alison if you're studying politics and/or history, but this topic should be of interest for students in any subject in our department, so all are welcome. I'll be there and looking forward to hearing what Inge and Alison have to say about statues.

Please email James ([email protected]) directly to book your place.
