Fun in the sun ☀️

A lovely play set up by a 3 year old!
20 minutes of setting this up independently and absolutely no involvement from any one else.

Using their own ideas and imagination arranging and rearranging. Hearing them talk throughout their play expressing what they are doing and what is happening and planning their own little story!

Then picking up my phone to access my camera to take LOTS of pictures of their masterpiece.

Yes my phone was disabled for 5 minutes after they had used it and attempted my pin several times!!

Child Led chalking! I stood back and watched them cover the whole wall, taking turns sharing the chalks, talking about what colour they were using and asking each other questions like “what’s your mummy’s name?” Moving furniture and climbing to get up higher and working as a team 🤗

Even the baby is being involved in todays role play! It’s nap time apparently 😴

People often ask how I’ll manage the different age groups but as you can see we manage just fine and what a lovely experience for the children to have their very own real life doll playing with them!

I’m sure Jack is enjoying all the attention 🤗

We love Junk modelling!
The children find the items they would like to use.
They cut, stick, decorate and create their very own master piece!
This is such a nice calm and creative activity and all ages are all willing to join in ❤️

After having lots of enquires lately I thought it would be best to share the news that I will be closing in April to go on Maternity Leave.

I’m not sure when I will start back up but I will update this page when I’m taking enquiries again.

The end of a very special chapter and very sad to say goodbye to our little friends but exciting times ahead for us as a family!

Painting in the sunshine!

We have been learning about shapes so I decided to try some shape printing.
One child found a car and decided that’s what he would paint with, another child decided to try the shape printing but then used her hands to explore and paint the tray we were using to paint on..and my child decided to paint herself!

A lovely activity for the children to explore and use their imagination, promoting independence and communication and language as well as physical fine motor skills and expressive arts and design!

Easter Craft

The children have really enjoyed making Easter Eggs and Easter Bunnies and their parents have been so happy to take their lovely art work home.

I always find that when I get the arts and crafts out all of the children come straight over and want to join in.

The Paint Markers have been a big hit this week.

Well that lasted all of 2 seconds!
