This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Councillor Higgins and Councillor Allen to Uttoxeter, where they met with leaders from across the Innovate2Educate Trust.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss education across our schools, sharing our current priorities, challenges, and ambitions for the future.
Time together like this is incredibly important, giving us space to explore how schools, the Trust and the local authority can continue to work closely in partnership. Our discussions focused on strengthening collaboration, supporting our communities, and ensuring the very best outcomes for children and young people across the area.
We are grateful to both councillors for taking the time to visit and engage so positively with our leaders, and we look forward to continuing this important work together.

On Tuesday, we had a wonderful day in Uttoxeter as many of the towns and surrounding areas schools came together for the first annual Youth Climate Action Summit.
Children of all ages presented on the 'Good Life Goals', engaged with professionals from Support Staffordshire, East Staffs Council and The National Nature Park to explore solutions and decide upon their actions to make an impact for the forthcoming year.
"We may be small, but we can make a BIG difference" resounded around the Renew Church as we all were profoundly moved by the passion and sensitivity shown by our young people.
Innovate2Educate partnership, along with other school leaders place the Climate and Sustainability as a matter of priority to our community, and the voices of our children only went to further this decision.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, space and experience to bring this summit together.

We would love to see as many children as possible walk, cycle or scoot to school next week. Or for those who have to travel by car, maybe you could 'park and stride'!
