What a lovely evening our Young Farmers had at the AGM last night!

Young Farmers events always bring such a strong sense of community - it was fantastic to come together and celebrate everyone’s achievements.

We’re delighted to introduce Abbotsholme YFC’s new Chair, Tia-Rose, and one of our Vice Chairs, Martha, for the 2025/26 year.

Here’s to an exciting year ahead - one where Abbotsholme YFC continues to grow, inspire, and make a positive impact across our school, our local community, and the wider Young Farmers family!

All of the Prep children participated in a team Easter egg hunt earlier in the week, solving clues along the way. The older children did a fantastic job supporting their younger peers, and everyone got into the Easter spirit! 🐣

More snaps from our Pre-Prep trip to Stafford Castle earlier this week, where our pupils engaged in lots of fun activities—dressing up as knights, discovering medieval history, and immersing themselves in the world of castles 🏰✨

On Monday, Reception to Year 2 visited Stafford Castle as part of their topic learning about castles and knights 🏰

The children had a tour around the castle learning about what different areas of the castle would of been used for, had the opportunity to dress up as real knights and stamp their own shillings!

We are excited to invite prospective pupils to our Prep Discovery Day—an afternoon to fully immerse yourselves in life at Abbotsholme Prep School!

With our current Prep pupils taking part in a carousel of activities, they will be engaging in Performing Arts, Outdoor Education, Equestrian, and Farm activities. This is the perfect opportunity to see firsthand what learning looks like for our pupils beyond the traditional classroom.

Our wonderful and dedicated team of Prep teachers will be available to talk to you about all things Abbotsholme, show you around the school, and demonstrate why Abbotsholme Prep is such a unique and special place to be!

On Monday, the Prep Gardening Club planted beautiful new flowers by the Prep Hub, sowed pumpkin seeds, and kicked off an exciting sunflower growing competition! 🌻

Who will grow the tallest sunflower? Stay tuned! 🌿✨

This week in Prep, we kicked off World Book 'Week' with a visit from Tilly Matthews, a local children's author and illustrator 📚

Tilly read her very own Paul the Peacock to our Prep pupils, answered their insightful questions, and even held a book signing! 🦚

A huge thank you to Tilly for spending time with us—our Prep pupils absolutely LOVED the story of Paul the Peacock! It has sparked so much excitement for World Book Day and the joy of getting lost in the magic of reading ✨

A day of hands-on learning for our Prep pupils! 🐑✨

Today, they experienced the miracle of life firsthand, witnessing a live lamb birth during their carousel session, and learning how to deliver and process lambs.
