Summer Holiday Club Update-

There are still some places available at the summer holiday club

Wednesday 27th July - Friday 12th August.

We are now offering the option of full days (£20) or half days (£15)
Full Day- 8.30am – 4.30pm
Half Day Morning- 8.30am – 12.30pm
Half Day Afternoon- 12.30pm- 4.30pm

❖ 15% discount for siblings
❖ There is no obligation to attend all 5 days.
❖ Children will need to bring a packed lunch and their own water/ Juice bottle (this will be refilled during the day).
❖ We provide breakfast & snacks.

We are now also offering places to the children who will be attending reception from September and are 4 years old.
We also offer places to children who do not attend Flixton Primary but who are currently Reception age or older as we appreciate that some children like to attend holiday club with friends or relatives who might not be at the same school.

Due to quite a few last minute cancellations at our previous holiday clubs we require one weeks notice for a cancellation or payment is due in full.

Holiday Club Update-

Just a reminder that our Easter Half Term Holiday Club will be open-

Monday 11th April- Thursday 14th April
Tuesday 19th April - Thursday 21st April.

Due to some cancellations we still have places available and for the first time we have decided to offer a few places to children from other schools. So if you have any relatives or friends who are looking for half term child care please feel free to share our information.

We have been receiving a high level of enquiries about places at the before and after school club in September. So we thought we would post an update on our current situation.
Allocating places is proving complicated because when we had to reduce capacity due to the government guidance we had to ask parents of the children who had been attending pre- covid if they could either reduce days or stop attending entirely if the parents were working from home so we could accommodate the children whose parents had to go into work and had no other childcare options.

With restrictions easing for childcare in September we now have a waiting list that consists of-
Children who currently attend but on reduced days and now need more sessions.
Children who attended before covid and need to return to us.
Children who were on the waiting list before covid.
Children who were on the waiting list for for Reception September 2021
Children who were put on the waiting list since Covid due to other settings closing etc.
Children who are on the waiting list for Reception September 2022

So sorting it all out isn’t proving an easy task!!
Initially we are remaining at a slightly reduced capacity due to staff changes and also to be cautious until we know how it’s working so places will remain limited.
It would be helpful if anyone who is in on the waiting list and hasn’t heard from us in the last month or two could send an email or text letting us know if they still require a place.
Children who already attend are guaranteed the places they had in July. But if you would like extra sessions and you haven’t already informed us could you also get in touch asap.
Once we have all this information hopefully we will be able to start to allocate places next week.

We are running a Holiday club in the second week of the Whit holidays from Monday 7th - Friday 11th June.
We will also be open for the first 3 weeks of the summer holidays from 26th July - 13th August.

* Children will need to bring a packed lunch and their own water/ Juice bottle (this will be refilled during the day). We will provide breakfast & snacks.

Just a quick update on the Easter holiday club:
Places are filling up fast and we now have limited availability for most of the days so if you are interested in booking, please contact us asap to guarantee a place.

Also, we have had a lot of parents contacting us about the breakfast and after school club. We still have to open at a reduced capacity and so places are limited.
We have an infant bubble and a junior bubble. The infant bubble is full but we do have a couple of places in the junior bubble.
We also have a waiting list for when we can increase our intake.

We know some children have been on the waiting list for a year or even longer. Can we ask that if you are already on the waiting list and you haven't been in touch recently will you please contact us to let us know if you still require a place when we have space.

Finally we will prioritise giving places to the children that were attending before March 2020 . We know a lot of parents who are working from home etc have not sent their children because places are limited. Again, can we ask that any parents who think they will need a place even if it's not until September or January 2022 get in touch to let us know what they will require and when they think this will be for. Or even to let us know if they don't think that they will need a place anymore.

We are considering running a Holiday club in the February half term holiday. We will be based at the Infant Department.
Whether we open will depend on levels of interest because we will only be able to open for key worker children who are already attending school and we know this limits numbers.

We will be open from 8.30am - 5.30pm and the cost is £25 a day with a 15% discount for siblings ( if there is more than 1 sibling then an extra discount will be applied)

Due to the Government guidance we will be operating our own 'bubble' system so places will be limited. With this in mind and considering staff ratios, social distancing, extra cleaning etc we are adhering to certain criteria:
*places will only be offered to key worker children who attend Flixton Primary and are in Reception up to Year 6.
*we are only offering full days but there is no obligation to attend all 5 days.
* Children will need to bring a packed lunch and their own water/ Juice bottle (this will be refilled during the day). We will provide breakfast & snacks but these will be done in the 'bubble'.
* Children will not be able to attend another childcare setting during the time they are coming to Little Diamonds.
