Last week our friends came from cherry blossom corner childminding came to visit us, we had lots of fun playing, reading and practicing our fine/gross motorskills. We also visited our cherry blossom friends at their setting where we explored 'snow', the children loved exploring the texture and watching it splat on to the tuff tray, we then had lots of fun doing whats in the bag, singing nursery rhymes and dancing to Danny go. A little one got our hair dressing toys out and asked if they could do my hair 🥰, we also explored Topmarks again, we went for a walk to find the horses and then we took the dogs for a walk 😊

We had lots of fun during half term, we visited Sutcliffe Play, enjoyed cooling down in the paddling pool, made bracelet...

I've neglected the page and keep forgetting to post 🙈. We have been busy learning and having fun though. We've had fun with our friends at Humpty Dumpty Club and cherry blossom corner childminding, we've been practicing writing, fine/gross motorskills, practiced our numbers/letters, we have enjoyed being outside exploring and much more 😊

Yesterday the little ones started the day by building a car so they could go for a drive 😆 we then sat down and practiced our numbers. While it was nap time myself and a little one explored top marks, focusing on maths games. The little ones then spent the afternoon role playing.

Today we visited our friends at cherry blossom corner childminding. The little ones played before we explored our tuff tray activity. The little ones had lots of fun counting the worms using tweezers and their fingers. We then spent the afternoon playing with the cars, finding items to use as bridges and tunnels before finishing the day dancing to some of our favourite songs 🥰

On Wednesday we had lots of fun with our friends at Humpty Dumpty Club. We are having some much needed garden work done ...

On Wednesday we had lots of fun with our friends at Humpty Dumpty Club. We are having some much needed garden work done and the little ones were very excited to see a mini digger at work, as the garden wasn't secure we decided it was safer to take a look out of the bedroom window so they could see it better. Before hometime the little ones made a track for the cars 😊.

Yesterday we had lots of fun playing with the bing and bluey houses, we then used the whiteboard to do some mark making then had cuddles with Jet before we went out into the garden to use the easel and boom whackers. We then decided to take Rocky into the front garden for a bath and so he could roam around. We had lots of fun running round, using the slide, and watching Rocky. We had a picnic before nap time. We spent the afternoon role playing, building a car and a house before going back into the garden before hometime where the little ones took me on a bus ride around Spain 😂

Yesterday we started the day with a mini obstacle course before playing Doctors. We then went for a walk and enjoyed playing chased in the sunshine, the little ones then spotted some ants on the ground and stopped to take a closer look. We walked back with friends and the little ones were amazing while walking independently. We finished the day with a game of frustration 😊

Today we had some friends visit us as well as our friends from cherry blossom corner childminding. The little ones all played lovely together and absolutely loved the marble trees and the ball run, both great for motorskills, hand-eye coordination as well as learning about cause and effect. We then had a game of bowling and danced before lunch. It was a special little ones birthday at the weekend so we celebrated today with cake and sang happy birthday. We spent the afternoon playing before home time 😊

Last week we had lots of fun building, balancing, playing with the resources, made our own rules while playing connect 4 😆, we visited our friends at Humpty Dumpty Club, went to our very overgrown allotment 🙈 to plan what needs to be done and start work on getting it ready, and we took Jet on a walk where we got to see horses, sheep and rabbits!

The skills the children learnt were endless:

What fun we had last week:

●Working on our fine motorskills with kinetic sand by molding, squeezing, pouring, scooping, rolling and squashing, while using brilliant communication skills by describing what they were doing, asking for items and working together.

●Independent walking to the park with our friends from cherry blossom corner childminding, listening to instructions and having lots of fun at the park working on our gross motorskills.

●Fun at Humpty Dumpty Club with our friends.

●Lots of playing with different resources, using our imaginations and building.

●Giving Maggie a brush, more independent walking, listening to instructions and fun at the park, then finishing the week off with jigsaws 😊

Today we had lots of fun playing, the little ones built a kiosk and played McDonald's 😂 they asked me to sit down at the table, took my order and then served me 🥰. They then had fun hiding under blankets and bouncing on the peanut ball.

We met some friends and had a walk to Sutcliffe Play. It was great to be back playing in the sunshine. The little ones had lots of fun, so much so that before we knew it we had been there 2hrs! Safe to say that after lunch the little ones were out like a light at nap time 😂. We had a chilled afternoon before hometime and played with the animals 😊

We've had lots of fun today. We've worked on our fine motorskills, colour recognition, counting, shape recognition, shape/colour sorting and stacking. All the activities we did today were simple and fun but focused on some key areas, such as motor control, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, height/size, turn taking, independence and pre-writting skills 😊.

We also played lots, drew on the white board, read and danced ❤️
