Personal, social and Emotional
Chikdren explore rice confidently and show curiosity.
Share tools and space with others.
Take turns filling, pouring, and scooping.
Show pride in what they create.
Develop independence through self-chosen play.

Communication & Language (CL)
Use words to describe textures, sounds, and movements (e.g. soft, loud, smooth, heavy).
Follow simple instructions (e.g. “Fill the cup”, “Pour it slowly”).
Ask questions and explain what they are doing.
Engage in conversations with peers and adults.

Physical Development (PD)
Children will:
Strengthen fine motor skills through scooping, pouring, pinching, and stirring.
Improve hand-eye coordination.
Control tools such as spoons, tweezers and containers.
Develop core strength through leaning, reaching, and standing/sitting at the table.

Tooth Decay in under 5’s is above national average in Havering. An examination on 256 children under 5 revealed that 27.5% had tooth decay. Thats 4% above the national average.
We’ve spent the last 2 weeks talking about the importance of brushing our teeth and having regular checks at the dentist.
We’ve role played dentists, and brushed the dolly’s teeth. We’ve read books, sang songs and counted how many teeth we have. Lots of new learning 😊

We go on a lot of outings. Most of the children are able walkers so keeping them safe while we’re out and about is paramount. I recently purchased these key rings and have attached them to the children’s coats in case of emergency 👍
