Marlborough Preschool is looking for a committed and enthusiastic childcare worker to join our team from March 2026.

We have a vacancy for a Temporary Learning Support Assistant providing 1:1 care for 2 children, working in a team with our SENCo and other learning support practitioners.

Role 1 -
Monday 9am - 12pm
Tuesday 9am - 12pm
Wednesday 9am - 12pm
Thursday 9am - 12pm
Friday 9am - 12pm
Total - 15 hours

Role 2 -
Monday 12pm-3pm
Wednesday 9am-12pm
Friday 12pm-3pm
Total 9 hours

You may also be asked to help with holiday and sickness cover.

This current role is until July 2026 with the possibility of a permanent position from September 2026.

Relevant childcare qualifications are preferred but not essential for the right candidate. Experience working with SEN children is preferred,but not essential and training will be provided.

EMERGENCY NOTICE
Preschool will be closed tomorrow Tuesday 25 November. The Centre has recommended we close while they carry out investigations into bad smells in the Community Centre.
This should happen tomorrow.
we apologise for any inconvenience caused and we hope to be open on Wednesday but we will keep you informed.
