Explorers had an exciting Pudsey Bear sand tray today..
We explored the different textures that were in the tray. "Is it rough? Smooth? Cold? Wet? Spikey? Soft? Hard?" We were filling and emptying, also using our tweezers to see if we could collect the pom poms. This was a new word for us!!

What a terrific Tuesday the Explorers have had. We had lots of fun "splashing" " tipping" and pouring in the water tray....

Today our Jetsetters were involved in conversations about the world and the different people in it. They were able share their own ideas and feelings about equality and what makes us different.

At the end of our discussions, the jetsetters created finger puppets of different people dressed in different clothing from around the world. Excellent cutting and gross motor skills Jetsetters. We love being different.

This morning our Jetsetters have been mixing potions. During our conversations with them, they were able to tell us about the different ingredients they were going to use. We also had a scientific discussion following their observation with mixing bicarbonate of soda with vinegar. It was awesome!
