🧑‍🍳 Our chef is off to Vietnam on holiday, so we’ve decided to take the rare opportunity to take a breath following the insane response we’ve had since opening our kitchen! We’ve LITERALLY not had a chance to come up for air! Thank you! ❤️

As such, the kitchen will be reopening on Sunday 1st November.

But don’t worry, we’ve got some lovely bar snacks here for you! From pork pies, scotch eggs and other goodies!

So pop on down for a drink, enjoy the open fire and a traditional boozer!

An inspector turned up unannounced with a clipboard yesterday…. And she left us with 5⭐️s!

Four months into serving food and the team absolutely smashed it out of the park on their first attempt!

Inspector: “It was clear during my visit that a great deal of effort has gone into maintaining high standards, and the rating is well deserved.”

Getting things right from the start has always mattered to us, and we’re very proud of the team who know what they’re doing and take pride to consistently deliver high standards everyday 😎

A huge thank you to our team for the care and hard work they’ve all put in every day, and to everyone who’s supported us since we opened the kitchen.

We’ll let the standards speak for themselves 😎

🦌 Upavon venison burger with a stunning foraged homemade Manningford damson chutney, blue cheese and fries.

🐖 Lowerfields roast pork belly & crackling, roast potatoes, tenderstem broccoli, heritage carrots, veg & c***r gravy.
