Today, the Living Wage Foundation has announced the new Living Wage rates, marking the 25th anniversary of a campaign that has secured nearly £5 billion in additional wages for low-paid workers.

The new hourly rates are:
• UK Real Living Wage: £14.10 — a 4.8% increase
• London Living Wage: £15.45 — a 4.4% increase

The Government’s National Living Wage is expected to rise by 3.7% to £13.18, based on the Low Pay Commission’s estimate, subject to confirmation at the forthcoming Budget.
